Frisco is a central town in the ski resort dominated portion of Colorado. Frisco has a population of approximately two thousand four hundred residents, although during peak tourist season that figure increases substantially. Frisco is a highly homogeneous community both in terms of socioeconomic status and race, although it is becoming more diverse with the continuously increasing population. Frisco is currently governed by Mayor Bernie Zubriggen, and was officially incorporated as a town in the year eighteen eighty. Frisco is situated at an altitude of more than nine thousand feet, ensuring that both residents and visitors can enjoy stunning views of the valleys, mountains, and lakes of the Rockies.

Frisco is surrounded by the highly scenic Arapahoe National Forest and Lake Dillon, making sightseeing not just a popular activity but a normal fact of life in Frisco. Frisco is home to two major commercial districts, Main Street and Summit Boulevard, which are home to a number of boutiques that offer everything from jewelry and food to souvenirs and clothing. Frisco is close to the Continental Divide, ensuring a fascinating mix of weather throughout the year. Frisco also boasts a number of summer activities to complement the skiing that Frisco offers.
